I am Excited to announce that I have merged my practice to join the perinatal treatment team at Brooklyn Minds Please see the website for details regarding treatment and Insurance Coverage:
As an Integrative Psychiatrist, I work in collaboration with individuals who want to learn to stay – or become – healthy utilizing evidenced based medicine combined with myriad complementary approaches. I ascribe to the philosophy that physical and mental health are intertwined and my approach includes optimizing the treatment of both physical and psychological symptoms. I work with individuals across the age span, from adolescent to geriatric populations. Persons with health conditions that range from acute to chronic and vary in complexity. A large part of my practice includes aiding individuals in coming off of their prescribed psychotropic medications. I believe that it is imperative when prescribing medication to provide information with regards to how long someone should expect to be on a medication given their personal history and diagnosis.
I have expertise and additional training in Mood Disorders, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Reproductive Psychiatry and Women's Health, trauma and stressful life experiences, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, crisis management and Emergency Psychiatry. I offer ongoing regular visits for therapy and shorter, less frequent visits for medication management.
My current practice location is by appointment for HIPPA compliant telehealth visits only. I do have office space should the need arise for an in person session.

Stress Reduction Techniques
Many of my patients ask me about techniques for effectively coping with stress. While there are many different approaches, I work with my patients to tailor a plan that enables them to manage the stress in their lives on their own.
I welcome the opportunity to work with you by observing how you cope with stress, teach you techniques that will help improve your habits, and establish a routine that allows you to practice these methods on a regular basis.
Your initial visit will consist of a detailed and comprehensive evaluation where we will discuss your personal past history. This will include looking at formal past psychiatric treatments, medical history, current medications, family history, in addition to individual developmental history, life experiences, which include past trauma and stressful life events.
A diagnostic treatment plan is then formulated and recommendations are made based on the individual's experience and history. This may or may not include adding and/or reducing psychotropic medications.
Whether you need a complete diet overhaul, are looking to manage a medical condition, or want to fine-tune your food choices, we can work together to get a sense of your stress levels, sleep patterns, energy levels, exercise, and gastrointestinal function.
We will discuss your dietary preferences and cooking habits in order to optimize nutritional supplements and target areas to work on to target an overall sense of health andl well being.
